My hayfever has been playing up today, with nose and eyes streaming. I'll be happy to get home tonight - keeping my eyes open has been a struggle on the train.

On the good side, the guy at the hotel recognised my name this morning, checked with another guest if I still worked with the company, and switched me on to a cheaper rate. Great customer service considering it's well over a year since I've stayed there.
