This is my colleague Aung Lin taking notes on an animated discussion next to him. We're in one of our project areas, Dawei, at a programme team meeting discussing anything and everything from how much is a fair per diem for field staff and how to stop Thai hunters coming across the border to poach out tigers from a proposed protected area.

Conservation in Myanmar is extremely interesting (and challenging).

I did not expect the day to end in a karaoke booth solo singing Money Money Money by ABBA to a group of 20 Burmese people.
