Dinner Time
I love this time of the year - for about four months we're able to grow probably 60-70% of our own veg - and we're getting that figure higher each year as we work out what grows & what doesn't as well as what can be frozen and what can't.
My job last night was to wander down to the veg plots and get some veg to go with fish, much much better than a trip to the supermarket!
The salad is now ready, spinach & greens will be next week and the beans are all just starting to flower. We'll probably be able to blanch some more rhubarb before its done - so there's even pudding as well. Result.
