A stitch...

Mary and I were at the Holyrood Palace garden party, hence her finery! No photos allowed in the palace, for security reasons, of course. But we had a few moments before the gates opened, so popped into the Scottish Parliament and had a quick look at the Great Tapestry back on display there. It was thanks to Mary's involvement as one of stitches of the tapestry (along with many, many others) that she was invited to Holyrood, and I went along to carry her brolly! They are doing a panel to keep in the parliament building, and anyone can go and do a stitch of this panel. Here she is, doing a seed stitch, the partner photo to this blip of hers!
