Raising awareness

Today sees another anniversary, there will be a few over the next few weeks but I'm not sad today I am determined to use this anniversary as a positive and to raise awareness.

Today I urge you all to at least discuss with your family or friends your wishes around organ donation. Let them know if you wish to donate or not. I am not suggesting everyone joins the register, it is a difficult decision, but I am suggesting people have the discussion.

As we knew the wishes of our loved one it was quite difficult anyway but as a family we granted that wish, it was very sad but extremely uplifting when we found out that four people may have regained their sight through our loved one.

So please consider and at least have the discussion so if the situation arises you know the answer.

I ask you all today to have the discusion and raise awareness.
