Lost world

The vibrant green of a moss growing in a crack in the drive way caught my attention. I was just going to take a general moss image - as you do.

But then I saw these delicate little flowers - just two of them, growing in the moss.

They are about the size of half a rice grain.

To my mind they are exquisite.
