The cat's ears

Here is Meg. It is a photograph I have replicated this many, many times over the years since she was a little kitten.

I don't know what it is but this, and the others I have taken like it, make me smile every time I see them. I tested it out on my wife and it had the same effect. I had a similar one in a frame once and it made me chuckle when I walked past it.

Meg is not exactly photogenic and in most of her photos she has her eyes half closed, looks angry (she probably is) or generally looks just plain weird.

Maybe this pose captures the elusive enigmatic side of her personality.
