The First Flower

This is the first flower of the year, on one of my two Orchids.

It has been dormant all winter and I started to feed it, when the shoot began to grow - now it has quite a few buds on it.

I'm really pleased it's surviving. I have another one, in another room, that doesn't seem to be doing much at the moment, but the leaves look fine. I will just have to wait and see.
