New Moon, new beginnings

I hope you like this filtered image, it is of a new moon moving into the first quarter which starts on 5 July (Northam Hemisphere). For me it always represents the start of a new beginning, a Moon cycle that has fascinated me all my life. I love looking at this beautiful rock that orbits this other beautiful rock sitting amoungst billions of other beautiful Planets, Stars and Solar Systems.

My thought tonight is this... Look up and take notice of the new beginnings that are happening all around you. The thing is they are not so new, they have been happening a billion zillion years. Just open your eyes and mind and see the beauty of the things you have known and loved for a long time and enjoy a new beginning with them every day.
