House Mouse

Last night Fred dropped a motionless baby mouse in the middle of the kitchen. When I picked the tiny thing (it is not even as long as my little finger, body and tail and everything) up I found out that it wasn't dead after all but very much alive...

As I don't know where Fred had "found" it I can't take it back to its mother, and if I put it just somewhere outside it would most probably die within 24 hours - so now it lives as a new member of our household in the old triops terrarium.
