Our first tomato!

It is very small, but hurrah! The first sign of fruit from the tomato plants!

Getting ready for move up day on thurs. Basically I think the way it will work will be that I am the main teacher and I will be covered for 2 days each week... More that than a class share! Not sure how the other lady will feel about that. Hopefully it will work out ok. It's a large class but apparently they are nice, and should be more disciplined than this lot!
Today was interesting. In the afternoon we did an activity where they created a poster or leaflet to explain what they have learned about a recent topic. They were working very noisily (as they do) and so I offered them the option of listening to a story while they worked. In the end I read to them for nearly an hour, and they listened and worked brilliantly! Got some great posters finished, I had a slightly sore throat rather than a nasty headache and they really got into the story too.Win win!
