How can you tell he's Canadian (besides standing on the railway which runs from coast to coast)? He's just been to Tim Hortons - with over 3600 franchises in Canada alone serving donuts, (insipid) coffee and other fare, it is Canada's most popular fast food chain.

Today is Canada Day, and it is a day when Canadians reflect on their identity, or perhaps their inability to define who they are other than the fact they are not Americans. CBC Radio talked today about Canadians' nascent inhibitions. Me? I'm a non flag waver who would rather be a citizen of the world.
