VIEW UPON THE NESCIO BRIDGE

in Amsterdam.
I travelled by bus and train there, was met by Cor, our friend and we headed to the yaght haven where his boat lies. No walking, cycling or other tiring activities. No, this was the first time we had an outing on his boat.
At first I was a bit afraid, sailing in the canal where all the big steamers, in both directions sail. But soon enough I learned that we went in a snail speed and stayed near the shore.
The weather was perfect, sun and shadows of the big clouds, alternatively.
When we came back I saw the cyclists on the Nescio bridge (for pedestrians and cyclists only) and took my blipfoto for today.
Our tradional Thai meal tasted very well after all day outside and then I took the ferry, the train and the lightrail back. Just in time to look at Piet Hein's pictures and mine and after posting my picture it is high time to go to bed and sleep deeply.

My haiku:

We are such little
Creatures seen from above or
Even from below

And the proverb:

Hij/Zij bouwt zichzelf een muur, om er zijn/haar hoofd tegen te stoten.

Translation: He/She builds his/herselff a wall, to bump his/her head against it.
