Mexican shrine of the dead
Still stuck indoors mostly. There's an abundance of bits and bobs to photograph around the place, however, many from trips abroad.
Today's entry is bold, bright and brassy. I call it the Mexican Shrine of the Dead. They celebrate death in Mexico and have a triumphant, noisy carnival. This mini shrine will give you an idea.
I am not sure, but it looks like they are celebrating the life (and death) of the artist Frida Kahlo, with lots of foodie offerings. A little dog sleeps on undisturbed at the front. I'm glad this little treasure survived the trip back to London.
