Leek flower

In case anyone ever wondered what a leek flower looks like.... Here you go.

After spending a day prom shoe shopping at Westfield stratford with my daughter I had almost lost the will to live. Then walking round the garden I spotted one of the leeks we planted 2 years ago but never picked was flowering, and what a beautiful intricate flower it is. I love seeing so something I have never seen before.
