Falkirk Wheel

On our weekly childminding jaunt with Rebecca we spent the morning at the Falkirk Wheel. Lots of adults and children enjoying the sunshine . Full boats taking trips on the Wheel which I have blipped before. This picture shows the rotating wheel and the channel connecting to the Union Canal. No matter how often you see this structure it never fails to impress as a fine piece of engineering and, a bit like the Forth Bridge, it invites photographs.
Not quite sure what a two and a half year old thinks of fine pieces of engineering!
