My sister and my neice
I had written a lovely write up about today but Blip decided to eat it between the entry details page and the preview page. My apologies if I don't put as much effort into rewriting...
It's always hard to decide which photo to choose when I go and visit my sister. Today there were lots of choices. There was the delicious 16oz steak that came raw on a hot stone for you too cook your lunch just to your liking. Very tasty but I had to take a bit of mine home as it was so big! Then there was the delicious dairy free chocolate milkshake that I had at a little cafe in the afternoon (where this photo was taken). Imagine my joy at finding a milkshake I could drink! There were also the many photos of nice flowers from our wander around the Botanical Gardens. I was even trusted to carry Emily in her sling, it was so tight as my sister told me how to tie it that I was sure a baby wouldn't fit in there too. And then, there's the kids and how can I choose anything over their beautiful little faces.
Today was a nursery day for Daniel. I had planned on staying in bed until after he was away, but the morning had different plans for me and I was up at 6am. A lovely relaxed day with Rachel and Emily and then lots of fun in the garden with Daniel before his bathtime.
Daniel taught me the game of "Don't get me!" and the whole back garden was our playground. Don't get me basically involves him running shouting don't get me and you following after chasing him. When you get him, the sillier the better. This involved swirling him around, tickling or grabbing and falling backwards so we were both rolling on the floor on our backs. Unfortunately it was a little too much fun and he didn't really want to go for his bath.
