Pub Garden View!
Well when it comes to the view from a pub garden you can't beat this one! This is the view from 'The Black Horse' at Amberley, a tradition country pub just over the hill from where we live and a great place to have an impromptu bar meal as we did last night!
The hill that can be seen in the middle distance is 'May Hill' in the Forest of Dean, the 'lump' on the top is a group of 99 pine trees originally planted to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and on May Day revellers assemble round these trees to greet the dawn.
