Packhorse Bridge @ Mitton nr Longridge

Today I had to take Doreen to Wrightington hospital, near Wigan, to replace an Arthritic knuckle. We arrived at 9am to be told she may not have the operation, until this afternoon. It was only a day visit with Doreen having a local anesthetic.
To pass the time I went to see two friends who lived a few miles away and was taken out by Keith to take a few photographs. The packhorse bridge above is in Mitton which is near Longridge, which is about 10 miles from Preston. I arrived back at the hospital at 2.15pm as Doreen's operation was finished which seems to have been a success, although the arm has a big bandage on it at the moment.
