Restoration

It is clear from the body language of the restorers and from the dedicated comings and goings at the railway station of utilities and trades personnel this work is pleasure. Perhaps some of that belief is projection thinking about the degree of pride I would myself feel moulding and shaping and painting the detail of this historic property back into the landscape.

After a community Friends of the Library meeting this afternoon where I discovered no-one among the usual suspects knew about this work, I called into the Council office and popped the question. Who is doing the work and who is paying?

Not the Council, but the State Government...and the officer made the extra response it certainly looks as if a lot of money is going in there.

There you have it after years and tears shed by individuals anxious to motivate action to save the building.
