Etar Architectural and Ethnographic complex

Back blip due to the lack of wifi.

I am in Gabrovo, Bulgaria for two days attending and speaking at a conference on culture. Arrived at the Hotel Balkan after a flight from London and then a 3 hour drive from Sofia to Gabrovo.

We then immediately were driven to the Etar Architectural and Ethnographic complex, which is 8 km outside Gabrovo. It turned out to be a re-creation of an old street in Gabrovo which had workshops of all sorts and houses, all powered by water from the river it sat on.

This blip is a shot of one of the buildings with its waterwheel in the foreground.
