New Holland Honeyeater

I was sitting out in the front garden reading my book club book and a bird that I hadn't seen before suddenly landed on one of the Kangaroo Paw plants. No sooner had it landed it flew away; rather surreal. I think it may have been a Eastern Spinebill but I will check with a friend who knows more about birds than I do.

When I looked around all I could see was my friends the New Holland Honeyeaters! Will keep a look out in the future but this is the best I can do for now!
