Cornwall Day 6
I slept SO well, and didn't snap out of sleepy mode for about 2 hours. Thankfully we had a pretty lazy day. Me and Graham walked to the shop to get breakfast, came home for a coffee, then walked to Swanpool with Selena and Harry.
We spent the first half hour trying to coax Harry into the sea (didn't go that well), Selena swam and I 'paddled' (I ended up going in a lot deeper than planned). Laid in the sun to dry and watched tiny children learn to paddle board.
For lunch we got incredible ciabatta toasties from the beach cafe. Somehow we didn't notice the tide coming in, and suddenly it was inches from Harry's toes.
After a quick trip back to Selena's for a shower, we were on the train and waving goodbye to Cornwall. We saw a beautiful sunset over Bristol, then got stuck outside Cheltenham because of the crazy lightning. We eventually left the storm behind, but it caught up with us at Didcot - we spent half an hour being deafened by the rain on the steel roof and watching the lightning over the town.
Got back home just after midnight, said hello to the boys, then crashed - just as the storm caught up with us again.
