God what a mission this was! We had returned from the eye hospital where Mundy had endured stinging eye drops for his examination. I led him blindly home and then, when we thought the effect had worn off, decided to take our second arms akimbo pic. It took ages as I showed him how to hold the camera, where to look, where to press. At times the conversation went something like this.
B: (smiling sweetly) - Ok, you can take it now.
M: Ok...there!
B: But nothing happened...it didn't click or anything.
M: Ok, try again. Now where have you gone?It's all black.
Set everything up again...
M: Does it matter if you have numbers on you?
B: I don't think so.
M: Oh God, now it's gone all blue.
B: I don't know how that happened. Oh well, let's try again.
M: Can I hold it the other way up?
B: Hold it any way you want to. Just take the darned picture!
Once he got the hang of it, Mundy managed six shots.
This was the only one that worked, well...sort of. And to get my hands in the centre of the square we had to chop off half my head.
I had considered chopping it off completely!
But there you go....
