New Twickenham Riverside

Most of Twickenham is being dug up at the moment; this part of the riverside is no exception. This area used to be only a car park, but now, although the cars are still there, a wider walkway has been built next to the river with benches, trees and flower beds and a hedge to hide the cars. It's much more pleasant than before.

This photo was taken on an evening 5 miler with Mike, stopping by the open-all-hours Tesco which I so disapprove of, to buy toothpaste. And, yes, my teeth are lovely and clean now!!
