Park Life
Early morning woofer walk to the park on the hill and we came across this graceful tai chi group. For over an hour they worked through a series of exercises including the martial arts aspect of tai chi using swords and fans. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This group were all fairly advanced in years but their grace, balance and flexibility was amazing - they would put much younger people to shame.
There is no mystique to Tai Chi Chuan. What is difficult is the perseverance. It took me ten years to discover my chi, but thirty years to learn how to use it. Once you see the benefit, you won’t want to stop.
