What a beauty!
This is Notholirion bulbiferum, I think, unless it's Notholirion thompsonianum! I meant to check it, but had just turned the computer off! I grew these from seed years ago and there are still only a few spikes in the clump. Having Googled it, it could even be Notholirion macrophyllum! I shall try to confirm tomorrow.
These beautiful bulbous plants are monocarpic, so when a bulb has flowered it then dies, leaving a number of bulblets around it which may take a while to reach flowering size. My plant is obviously taking time to clump up! They generally come from the Himalayan region, from Afghanistan in the west to China in the east.
