NannaK Printing On Her Gelli Press
Another jam packed day on Parker Island...got together about 11 for some arting. K and I made paper with our Gelli Presses...NannaK worked on her elephant book, and made some beautiful pages from old recycled cardboard boxes which once housed trays of slides. They have a wonderful "animal pattern" texture and after she covered them in some of her handstamped paper! We both fell in love with the outcome! I cannot wait to see the finished project.
I decided to try my hand at another flip book...which will be an ongoing project as we motor throughout the Gulf Islands for the next few days!
K and H had us for dinner up on the dining porch tonight...and of course the food was excellent. H fired up the grill and K grilled some fresh aspargus, and new potatoes, to go with the tuna and salad that we brought! Oh, and we finished off the birthday pie from the night before...mmm good! Bob is still talking about that pie:)))
The sunset was beautiful, and I spotted a new moon as I walked down to the boat...nothing could be more beautiful than the view here!
