Queens Baton Relay

Caitlin (along with her P6 and P7 school-mates from Balmedie School), had the great opportunity of being part of the Queens Baton Relay Celebrations as the Baton came into Aberdeen today. Bridge of Don Academy hosted the kids and the baton and then they held a mini-commonwealth games for all the kids once the baton had moved on.

Caitlin had a great time, she not only got to touch the baton and has a great souvenir T-shirt of the event but also got a high-five and a cuddle from Clyde the Thistle (the official Games Mascot). What a way to start your last week of Primary school!
