Top of Town

It's always a pleasure to pop into Sherborne on my day off and I particularly like this end of town. I had to go into the toy shop on the right - a treasure trove for any children - I needed a plastic spade and plastic boat for props for the school play!

Had a long call from my friend in Athens who returns for a couple of weeks in July and will hopefully be coming to stay if her back allows. She has been experiencing temperatures over 39 degrees celcius at times. I'm sure she will have a cooler reception in england.
Oh and made a start tidying the office which at the moment one dares not step into for fear of never escaping again - the hazards of being a teacher hoarder!
Bertie is beginning to relax more and slept just outside our open door last night on the landing. We were awoken by him jumping out of the wardrobe at about 5.0 am!
