Colors!

Turns out there is no word in Mixe language for the color blue.

When the 3rd year pre-school class was tasked with drawing objects of the colors yellow and blue you will notice that the blue ones are mostly man-made objects while the yellow ones are mostly objects found in "nature."

I paradoxically continue to perpetuate the man vs. nature dichotomy that I so despise.
