Gathering Clouds
20.5C with sunny spells and lots of cloud. Light breeze.
Bits and pieces of gardening this morning. Some clearing where the front garden border has plants overhanging the footpath. Some hoeing and some feeding of greenhouse plants.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We went down the field with the bridle path to the shore. The clouds were looking heavy again but no rain has come today. As we crossed the little fields where the railway line is we saw a tractor turning the recently mown long grasses to make Hay.
The tide was coming in, and as we reached the Fishermen's huts Tom walked down the beach, got in his dingy, and rowed out to Shamara II. He soon set off out to sea with another load of creels to put in the water.
