Is this really January!!

We are enjoying a marvelous day today. So marvelous, in fact, that we could have gotten away with shorts on our family bike ride/walk on the little trail near our house. We packed the kids' bikes and Tyler loved practicing on his big boy bike! Mia still hasn't figured out riding bikes, trikes, or anything and her stint only lasted about 2 minutes. She ended up doing the walk part of the trip! and she made it! It was amazing!

As we walked along, we came to a part of the trail that overlooked the lake and the lake was completely frozen. It was rather strange throwing rocks onto a frozen lake in weather that could have handled shorts, but whatever. It was fun! In this blip, Josh is heaving a HUGE rock, to see if he could the ice. He couldn't. That ice was frozen solid, but it sure was fun to try! I was dying to take my chances walking on it, but refrained!

Still have a couple hours of daylight to enjoy! Pure bliss!!
