Washing machine

I've been exploring Waseda recently and I never realized there is an old area behind the university that has loads of small factories and warehouses--in other words, a whole untapped area of grim that the Takadanobaba urban redevelopment hasn't reached yet.

And I'm posting this photo for my mam, who still can't quite get her head around washing machines being safely used outside.
