Dunwich

G and I picked up our new wheels this morning! As ever, his was easy, but I had a last-minute wobble about whether mine was right. We then couldn't fit them on the bike rack, so had a stressful hour! I decided to take mine along to meet with friends, and after some sensible advice, we set off for our planned trip to Aldeburgh. As soon as I got on my bike, I forgot my worries, as it's such a nice ride, and so much better than my old bike. I've gone from 5 working gears to a full set of 27! Hills, what hills?! We left Claire with her uni work in Aldeburgh and the rest of us cycled to Dunwich and back again. As we'd arrived much later, we just did a small 25 miles today (half of last week's ride!), but it was great to get the bikes on the road. When we returned to Aldeburgh, we met Claire and went and had an incredible veggie burger in the new diner on the high street. We then caught the end of the football in the pub; extra-time and penalties meant we left much later, but got home in time for everyone to watch the end of the second match round at ours.
