Mono Monday – reflections

What a dismal grey day (again). The only plus is that cold rain here means snow in the mountains.

Given that I have a bit of a thing for photographing eyes and that I really didn't want to venture out into the wet garden for a puddle reflection, you get my son S's eye, staring out of the window. Even by the window it was very dark.

A busy day yesterday – swimming competition most of the day (four medals for N) and speed skating competition all evening (three medals for S). Proud mother today – they each got a placing in every event they entered. This is the first time S has entered a skating comp, despite having skated for several years.
