Old Mint Trail

This weekend we decided to go to Hatcher Pass. The drive up from Anchorage is about 90 minutes and there are several campgrounds/trailheads in the area. We decide to hike the Old Mint Trail. It follows the creek shown in the picture all the way to the end of the valley. Afterwards you can hike up the mountain to see the glacier that gives this water it's nice turquoise color.

Couldn't stop thinking of the barrel river from the second hobbit movie. But this one was better.
