Crex crex

In this meadow, in my home village is a Corncrake! It is merrily calling and crexing!

What a treat, very rare round here, just the odd migrant dropping in, not sure why this little fella is here at the moment, must have been hoping to find a lady friend or maybe he's already got one! ;)))
