A great weekend in the Lakes ...

Bookgroup trip this weekend to Coniston ... it was lovely to spend time with them. We had a short film, 'Curfew', as well as two short stories and 'Closely Observed Trains' to natter about ... a great place to stay and fabulous countryside.

P n I went to The Ruskin Museum today .. and Brantwood yesterday .. whilst most of the gang walked and walked and cycled. We are too slug-like to sprint up the Old Man of Coniston etc ... but now we feel we've had a super helping of John Ruskin!!
