Bouncy Castle

Sam's birthday party is always on a busy weekend. We had planned an outside party with BBQ.

Unfortunately: We woke up to a gloomy forecast
Fortunately: Sam arrived home from his sleepover not too tired

Unfortunately: the slide we booked was called "Titanic"
Fortunately: It was sunny

Unfortunately: We sat around and gloomily watched the forecast for 4.00pm
Fortunately: The bouncy slide arrived early and was easy to put up

Unfortunately: I paid in advance
Fortunately: Sam had great fun playing on the bouncy slide.

Unfortunately : It started spitting with rain
Fortunately: Two friends turned up to the party early to help dry off the bouncy slide

Unfortunately: Sam ripped off one of the Titiaics funnels
Fortunately: We had patching tape

Unfortunately: It was raining!
Fortunately: After cutting up a wipe-able table cloth, Martin managed a temporary fix

Unfortunately: 12 12 year old boys arrived and slammed into serious sliding on the not-altogether -perfect bouncy slide
Fortunately: There wasn't any serious injury

Unfortunately: the Fix didn't hold
Fortunately: We had cooked BBQ inside film lined up

Unfortunately: It didn't appeal to everyone
Fortunately: I had a Giant Game of Jenga in the garage

The boys were amazingly adaptive to what could have been and nearly was an utter disaster...
