A birthday

We were invited to our neighbours this evening for a drink and some nibbles to celebrate his birthday. Birthday = cake. Fantastic cake ......... for a 70 year old! He has recently started helping friends on their yachts, which he is enjoying, hence the cake. Came home with cake, as we had to leave early - our son was cooking tea.

Swapped my day off next week, training session to go to on Tuesday so working this day and pa-in-law has a hospital appointment at Charring Cross tomorrow. Early start, to make sure traffic/trains running ok. At nearly 85, pa-in-law not able to walk fast either, so may be a challenge on public transport.
