FIRE!

It got a little scary today…

This is a view from our roof terrace this afternoon as a hot, dry wind fanned the flames of a wildfire frighteningly close to our village and some truly amazing firemen and aircrew worked ceaselessly to bring it all under control.

By dark, they seemed to have won the battle. Fingers crossed the winds die down tonight …
