Last leg of the trip

The 12 car ferry from Cape Vincent, N.Y. to Wolfe Island (Ontario, Canada). As you can see, it wasn't very busy today, only one other car besides us. We are towing the 14ft sailboat so we took up a couple of car lengths, but all went well. We are here and it is beautiful!!

Steve and I are sitting in the shade looking out towards Kingston over the ST Lawrence river. We already met up with cousins on the dock of the big house...we had not seen them for 2 years. We have learned from them of other family members here on the island so we'll be sure to see them tomorrow.

A good trip, yes 1400 miles is long, but do-able. And as Steven just said to Asia, worth the drive! She's been here many times before, more than me!
