Men of Kent

As well as a "how to use to your camera" course I have also enrolled on a Photoshops basics course for just 3 evenings and this is my first project.

Those of you who do not live in Kent will not know about Men of Kent and Kentish Men. The difference is said to originate from about 1500 years ago when there were the Jutish folks living East of the county and Saxons living the South. Nowadays the folks East of the River Medway are called Men of Kent and those West are called Kentish Men.

This picture is of a pub called the Men of Kent which confuses me because it is on the NW side of the River . I wanted also to capture the flags still out for England despite the home coming.
