Miss Willmott's Ghost

Eryngium giganticum

Named for the renowned plantswoman, Ellen Wilmott. Over sixty plants are named after her or her home, Warley Place, this being perhaps the most well known. She is reputed to have scattered it's seed in other peoples gardens while their backs were turned.
