Seeing Red

We've not long arrived home from a very enjoyable weekend at the Baton Twirling National Finals in Taunton where daughter Danielle and team-mates were performing. It was even more satisfying when the results were announced with Danielle taking second both in her solo and the duet category with partner Casey. The top three qualify for the European Finals in Croatia in October. Several other team-mates also qualified as did four of their team-based routines.

The teams wear different outfits for each of their performances, then there were fun events for friends and family so a lot of dressing up going on and I couldn't resist this example from one of the other team's mums. Good effort.
