Experimenting with distortion

Thinking about the possibilities for a background for my Antwerp print of cranes in the port. I'm not sure this is it and the idea is still sitting on the kitchen door for me to think about in passing. I think the whole is still to rooted in reality. Maybe I need to get the collage stiff out to move the idea forward.
