Praise Of Folly ...
I chose for this statue in a b/w version with one selected color: orange. It symbolizes for me the profits today of the Dutch team in the 8th finals of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. Holland-Mexico: 2-1.
Nobody believed in advance. The game is occasionally toe-curling and yet ... The atmosphere is totally changed and it has been called a world championship may be in the offing. The crown on the ball. As in this work of art: Praise of Folly.
Let's be realistic. Because without crown the ball is just round and could still go either way ...;)
In fact this is a statue of Geert van de Camp.
