Unsolicited advice

It's typical that when we finally get a family day together, Angus and I are almost too exhausted to enjoy it. I'm coming down with something and Angus was home late last night so this morning was a write off. However quite remarkably considering she'd gone to bed late and woken up early, Audrey was on top form! That's age for you!

We needed her nap breakthough and both settled on the sofa for a 24 & Jack Bauer catch up.

Drove out to Bramhall Hall Park this afternoon (lovely) followed by a drive round the area as it's not somewhere we know particularly well (always checking out areas for houses these days!)

We were going to eat up there but Audrey seemed tired so we settled on Yaki Soba closer to home (see pic). The lady that owns the place seemed very taken with Audrey and gave me her assessment of her as we left: "A handful. Difficult. Very beautiful but a tomboy. Likes to perform. Bright. Needs a little brother or sister then all will be fine..."

Don't you just love a bit of unsolicited advice from a stranger? The annoying thing is that she probably hit the nail on the head. But am still no further with any desire to have another one so instead it made me feel sad (and a little bit guilty).
