Not Porty People....

Red Dot Radio! Here are Tom and Richard presenters from The Hospital Radio. They and their team are all volunteers and broadcast from the Western General to all the wards there and also to all the wards here at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. They came to see me to congratulate me on winning last night' s phone in competition.! I won 24 hours pay to view bedside TV. Given the cost of that bedside TV service it was actually a very generous prize! I am very impressed by volunteers like this . They give freely of their time and have no heed for listening figures. "If we make one person's stay in hospital a little more bearable we have done our job!" Mission clearly accomplished with me today!
